As Durham's newest (and hottest, if we say so ourselves) arts organisation, we think it's only fair we take an evening to introduce ourselves. A heady mix of jazz, poetry, comedy and electronic music ought to do the trick. Fancy joining us? If you insist...

CONFIRMED ACTS

London/NYC poet Shoshana Anderson will open the evening. Performing poetry which cuts with devastating beauty and accuracy, Shoshana most recently performed alongside the Last Poets.
As a Jazz musician and composer, Daniel is obsessed with mixing different styles and genres. As a soloist, his music combines electronics with Jazz composition and improvisation on the saxophone.
Fair Afar is a four-piece band, consisting of students from Durham University, combining ethereal ambient music with groove-driven riffs and soaring vocals.
Solo electronic music project Guest Perspective will cap off the night, combining live instrumentation with elements of house, electro and trance.
