TESTT Space​ is an Empty Shop initiative which provides a platform for action research linked to contemporary culture in Durham. It houses studios, galleries, resources and is a testing ground for ideas.

The Inevitable

A superhero noir, 'The Inevitable' follows the story of a girl who struggles with her ability to see the future. Starring Bianca Skrinyar and Geno Epton Naughton and made by the members of Durham Student Films.
Soham De

A 20 year old singer-songwriter from Kings Lynn, Soham is based in Durham for University and still finding time to write and tour, recently supporting the likes of Gabrielle Aplin, Lucy Spraggan, Saint Raymond, and Bondax, to name a few. With a raw and delicate style and soulful lyricism, Soham aims to knock the socks off his audience every time - and succeeds. Check out his website and some of his music.

Jasmine Wilkinson

Jasmine is a 19 year old singer-songwriter based in Durham. Sweet and soulful, she captures the innocence and vulnerability of her lyrics through her haunting voice and gentle guitar melodies.
The Box 
Directed by Will Firth, written by Nathaniel Spain, Prasanna Sellathurai, Asa Cooper Stickland and Josie Child


In this short drama, a man attempts to rebuild his life following the death of a loved one with the help of his closest friend. But memories can sometimes be too painful for anyone to cope with. Starring Prasanna Sellathurai and Sofi Ruiz.
