ARTISTS, POETS, PERFORMERS:
ThornFest is back this year and we’re looking for your work.

From the 7th-9th June, Thorn will be running our annual artsy Fest - replete with visual arts, drama, workshops and photography and not only are you welcome to come, you’re welcome to contribute.

Sensorium: ‘The sensory apparatus or faculties considered as a whole.’

Disjuncture and fragmentation are common themes in contemporary society. We want to remind ourselves (and you) how every part of our body works together to bring us our lived experience, not in fragmentary parts, but as one vibrant whole.

This is a content call! If you are inspired by our theme, then we’re looking for you. On the 8th, we’ll be running an exhibition of art, photography and poetry, with some live poetry performances. This is your chance to contribute your work - any kind of visual art, including painting and photography, and short poems which will work well alongside. Before you submit, have a look at our guidelines below.
Get in touch with us via admin@thorndurham.com with your name, a brief description of what you would be able to contribute and a sample of your previous work.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Photographs can be of any size but must be emailed in .jpeg, .png or .pdf formats. Please include dimensions of the work along with your name and a small bio about yourself and the piece(s) you are submitting.

Please also mention if you are interested in performing your work on the evening.
